Lots has happened over the past few months.
This past summer, we decided to put our 1996 Leisure Travel van up for sale, thinking it might take us several months to find a buyer. Twelve hours later we had two solid offers, the van was in for the Ontario safety check and within another day or two it was out the door – leaving a gaping (lonely) space in our driveway. We still talk about missing it, every single day.
We have been diligently hunting for a replacement Class B camper – something newer with lower mileage. Of course, finding the right one in our budget has been the sticking point!
We hope to be back on the road sometime this year – travelling to music and food destinations and writing about them here.
In the meantime, if you hear of one for sale . . . let us know!
We own a 2000 Roadtrek which we love.. A couple of months ago we checked out a 1999 Roadtrek (Dodge) 190 Popular for friends in the United States. They decided not to pursue it, but had it been available 3 years ago when we were looking we would have bought it. It is in excellent condition. It is located near Niagara Falls, Ontario. Call Jack at 905-933-6990 for more information if you are interested.
Thanks for the tip, Shirley. It may be a bit older model than we are looking for but we may look into it anyhow.
Glad to hear you enjoy your Roadtrek. The camper van lifestyle is kind of addictive, isn’t it?
